我翻不了这一段（掩面）

我的大学在有些方面开放，校闻常常都有一些很奇怪的专题报道，和期期不误的"Too Sexy"专栏。

前些日子生物课说到物种生活史策略（life history），而现在刚好是春天，有些人的花粉症就找上门来了，教授说："Alder trees and all those wind-pollinated plant....... they are having sex in the air, and you are suffering because of that."

好吧，其实也没怎么歪，但我应该怎么翻译中间那一节？
